Celebrity Constellation joined the fleet in 2002 as the last of the "Millennium" class to hit the seas. After eight years of faithful service, Constellation spent some time in drydock in 2010 to add many of the amenities found in the newer "Solstice" class of cruise ships. The $40 million+ overhaul added a more contemporary design theme throughout the ship, plus modifications and additions to the available restaurants and lounges. If you haven't been on "Connie" since its "Solsticization", you're going to find a very different ship on your next cruise.

The top-of-the-line accommodation on Constellation is the enormous Penthouse Suite, with its large private veranda and living and dining space. Only slightly less luxurious are the Royal, Celebrity and Sky suites. The concierge class, family ocean view and deluxe ocean view staterooms all include balcony space where you can sit and enjoy the passing view. An ocean view stateroom gives you a window on the world, while interior staterooms are the least expensive way to go for those who are perfectly happy getting their views elsewhere on the ship.
The Ocean Liners restaurant has that classic cruise ship ambience - looks like it was pulled from the set of "Titanic". The Tuscan Grille is a steakhouse and Italian specialty restaurant. The Reflections Lounge is the glitzy place to dance the night away with great views. Cellar Masters offers a wine-tasting experience with vintages from all over the world. The bartenders add some mixologist style in the Martini Bar. "Crush" is a small caviar and vodka bar - with ice in every table to keep it all appropriately cold. Bistro on Five offers sandwiches, salads and other "lighter fare" for lunch and dinner.
