Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Star operates on several different itineraries throughout the year, including Alaska, the Caribbean and a few coast-to-coast trips via the Panama Canal.

The main dining rooms, "Aqua" and "Versailles", specialize in "healthy, lighter" fare and fancy multi-course meals, respectively. The "Market Cafe" is an indoor buffet with a separate dining area designed for younger passengers. La Cucina is a casual Italian eatery and Cagney's Steakhouse is, well, pretty obvious. Le Bistro is the Star's romantic French dining venue. The Ginza Asian Restaurant also includes the Teppanyaki Room (hibachi-style tableside cooking) and a sushi and sake bar. You wouldn't guess it from the name, but "Endless Summer" is a Tex-Mex restaurant and bar located just off the ships main atrium.
Norwegian Star makes a real effort at "kid friendliness" with the Splash Down Kid's Pool, the "Planet Kids" entertainment center and the "Video Zone" arcade. Watery fun for everyone can be found at the Oasis Pool and a big indoor lap pool. (Topsider's Bar & Grill is part of the Oasis pool complex.) Spa treatments and general fitness equipment can be had in the Barong Spa and the Barong Fitness Center. The 1,037-seat Stardust Theater looks a lot like an old Euro-style opera house, but offers Broadway and Vegas style shows. Adults are invited to take a chance (or a few chances) in the Star Club Casino.
