About the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas

The Navigator of the Seas was originally launched in 2002 as the first in RCL’s second generation of Voyager class ships. The ship has been kept up-to-date with the latest in amenities.

The ship’s most recent refurbishment was in 2014, at which time new restaurants and activities were added.

Cruisers have a variety of stateroom types to choose from, from standard interior rooms to deluxe suites. Panoramic ocean view staterooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. Deluxe and Superior Balcony cabins provide outside balcony space of varying sizes.

Those with inside cabins don’t have to go without a view – many of the Navigator of the Seas’ inside cabins feature “virtual balconies” via HD floor-to-ceiling screens that show continuous feeds of the outside view.

One of the really fun additions made to the ship during the 2014 refurbishment is the FlowRider surf simulator to the top deck. For action-oriented folks, the ship also has a rock wall, ice skating rink, basketball court, and mini-golf course. If relaxing is more your thing, you can hang out at the top deck pool and enjoy movies and sporting events on the large outdoor screen.

Dining options include Italian food at Giovanni’s Table, sushi and Asian fusion at Izumi Japanese Cuisine, Mexican fare at Sabor, steak dinners at Chops Grille, plus the main dining room and multiple buffet and quick casual eateries.
