Freedom Of The Seas from Miami: 5 Night Western Caribbean and Perfect Day

Ports of call: Cozumel - CocoCay
Departure days - Monday

Five Night Cruise from Miami to Mexico and the Bahamas

You can sail from Miami on short cruises to the Bahamas or to the eastern Caribbean or to the western Caribbean. This 5-day itinerary offered by Royal Caribbean gives you a taste of both the western Caribbean (the coast of Mexico) and the Bahamas.

Cozumel, an island less than 15 miles off the coast of Mexico, is the most popular stop for cruises traveling through the west side of the Caribbean. Excursions from Cozumel include visits to fantastic beaches, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins and exploring ancient ruins.

CocoCay is Royal Caribbean's private island in the middle of the Bahamas, essentially a tropical 125-acre water park about 55 miles north of Nassau. "Perfect Day at CocoCay" features lots of beaches, freshwater lagoons (including the Caribbean's largest pool), water slides and much, much more, all spread across ten neighborhoods. Yes, it's big enough to have "neighborhoods".

Offering Freedom for Almost 20 Years

Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas entered the fleet way back (well, "way back" in the world of cruise ships) in 2006. It's since received upgrades and renovations on several occasions, including a $116 million overhaul in 2020. The ship can carry over 3,600 guests and 1,300 crew members.
