MIAMI CRUISE GUIDE

Carnival Conquest from Miami: 4 Night The Bahamas

Ports of call: Princess Cays - Celebration Key
Departure days - Monday - Thursday

Conquer The Bahamas On This 4-Day Cruise From Miami

This is one of two standard itineraries of Carnival's Conquest during its current time in Miami. It alternates this four day cruise with a three day trip to the Bahamas for two cruises per week. Departures are usually on Monday but there are a few scheduled for Thursdays, usually on a holiday weekend.

Princess Cays is a private resort at the southern end of the island of Eleuthera. It's an opportunity to get off the ship for the day and do some swimming, kayaking, sailing or sitting-on-the-beach-ing. Celebration Key is another private spot, this time on Grand Bahama Island. Unlike Princess Cays, where you have to take a tender ashore, Celebration Key has a deep water pier where Conquest can dock. More than just a beach, Celebration Key is more like a 65-acre town, with multiple places to eat, freshwater lagoons, live music and an adults-only beach area.

A Little About Carnival Conquest

While it's a big ship, Carnival's Conquest isn't one of the super-sized boats, carrying a maximum of 2,980 guests (and 1,150 crew) per voyage. Your choices of accommodations range from window-less interior state rooms to big suites. (If you've considered trying the suite life, a short cruise such as this one minimizes the cost for luxury.)

On a short cruise like this one you're not going to have a problem finding activities to fill your time aboard. In the evenings there's musical entertainment in the theater and hilarity (we hope) in the Punchliner Comedy Club. Dining options are many: from the fancy Chef's Table to Guy's Burger Joint. Keep the kids busy with the Seuss at Sea, Camp Ocean or Space Cruisers programs. Stay active with some pickleball - or playing a slot machine in the casino.
